Jo Nolan

Jo Nolan was appointed as Chief Executive of Screen South in August 2005. Jo had been Deputy Chief Executive and Head of Regional Development and Production at Screen South since November 2004. Jo's background includes producing and company management across a wide spectrum of film, media and arts; including theatre, publishing; design and training both nationally and internationally.  She has also worked in project and event management from comic art galleries to corporates and local authorities. Jo has extensive experience in independent film production, having worked in most roles from Art Department to first AD and Producing.  She has delivered over 50 productions including features, award winning shorts, corporate videos and music promos, including the first interactive music DVD for the seminal band "Orbital" which won international industry acclaim. Jo studied for her BA Hons Expressive Arts in Brighton and PG Dip /MA in New Media & Film in Birmingham.  Jo is a voting BAFTA member and a fellow of the RSA.
