Lauren Simpson

Lauren graduated in 2008 from Sussex University with First Class Honours in Media Practice and Theory. She has since worked for back2back productions and is currently co-directing See.

As part of the Sussex University session Lauren is screening Coed Hills, a short film contemplating life in a 'low impact living community' in Wales. The film, which won 'Best UK University Short Film' at The End of the Pier International Film Festival documents an alternative to mainstream high carbon living whilst giving an insight into why Coed's residents decide to live communally.
